1. Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway

The Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway is a backroad adventure that highlights an appreciation for the resources and natural beauty of the Indian River Lagoon. Established in 2000, the byway was officially recognized on a national level in 2001. Clocking in at 233 miles and showcasing the beauty of Indian River, Brevard, and Volusia Counties, this scenic drive is not to be missed.
2. The Florida Cracker Trail
Florida Cracker Trail, Zolfo Springs, Florida
The Florida Cracker Trail runs east of Bradenton and ends in Fort Pierce for a total of 120 miles. The history behind this route includes both cattle and horse transportation. Today, the hoof prints have disappeared and visitors can drive along the trail at their leisure, enjoying all of the natural beauty.

3. Ochlockonee River Bridge

4. Loop Road Scenic Drive

The Loop Scenic Drive in Ochopee will take you through 27 miles of Everglades beauty. 5. Lemon Bay/Myakka Trail

Many people have said that Lemon Bay’s Myakka Trail shines with the true spirit of Old Florida. Located on the southwestern Florida coast, anyone can drive the 47-mile trail and see a lot of amazing natural beauty. Myakka State Forest has many trails for hiking, cycling, or horseback riding.
